Protection of Personal Data
The companies specified below, as joint controllers of personal data (also referred to as the “Sentient”) according to Art. 4, paragraph 7 in connection with Art. 26 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter also referred to as “GDPR”), provide you herewith in accordance with Art. 13 of GDPR following information:
Consent to processing of personal data
Sentient processes your personal data in the scope of:
Address and identification data, in particular your name, surname, company name, company address, company identification number, VAT number, telephone connection to your job and email address.
Descriptive information related to your company, in particular the size of your company and the subject of your business activities.
Data about other persons in your company, including names, telephone numbers and email address.
The personal data aforementioned are processed solely on the basis of the consent to the processing of the data granted by you, for the purpose of receiving more information about Sentient and for the purpose of:
- Preparation of consulting services proposals
- Preparation of contracts
- Advertising and marketing activities
- Creating client databases
- Provision of consulting activities
Your personal data shall be processed by Sentient for the time necessary to achieve this purpose, until the moment the contract is concluded between you and Sentient, and thus you become the client of Sentient, or if you do not exercise your right to erasure of your personal data or the right to withdraw consent to the data processing.
Provision of your personal data is not a statutory or contractual requirement of Sentient. If you don’t provide your personal data to Sentient, you will not be contacted for the purpose of receiving more information about the Sentient company, nor for the purpose of preparing a service proposal.
The automated decision making, including profiling, shall not take place during your personal data processing. Your personal data will be processed by the employees of Sentient, Sentient group companies or other persons who process the personal data on behalf of Sentient on the grounds of the contract concluded between such persons and Sentient. Your personal data may be provided to other recipients, especially to business partners of Sentient.
